Welcome to the new and improved holritzphotography.com!

Blogging has been an important part of our business and our relationships with clients, colleagues, friends, and family for a couple of years now, and we realized that there was really no reason to continue to use a traditional gallery-based website as our main site. With this in mind, we've combined the best of both worlds. We are thrilled with the opportunity to continue relationship building with those of you who are connected to us through our blog. We want you to get to know us. We'll be sharing our recent sessions and weddings, family fun times, and industry excitement. Whether you're a potential client, a current client, a photographer, a friend, or family, this is the place to come for news and the latest pictures from Holritz Photography and the Holritz family! We also want to get to know you, so leave us comments and let us know you've stopped by.

Site navigation is simple. You can either click on the links across the top of the site, or you can rollover the images of us above.

For those of you who want to reminisce a little and see old blog posts, you can still see our old blog here .

OK, formalities are out of the way, now sit back, relax, and enjoy hanging out with us for a while!

Happy Birthday Baby G! (Oh goodness, I guess at three she's not Baby anymore!)
Monday, May 12, 2008

Saturday night we had the opportunity to hang out with Joy and Garrett and Graycen for Graycen's third birthday. It was loads of fun... and so awesome to be able to have a free Saturday in which we could hang out with another awesome photography couple!

Good times guys! Happy Birthday, Graycen!

Joy made cute little gift bags for all the kiddos.
Seriously, isn't she adorable?
LOVE this face!
haha! My child is hysterical.
Cute little shutterbugs.
Quiet in the midst of chaos.
Fun present time.
So funny to try to take pictures of kids opening presents... the other kiddos always want to be VERY involved!
A new big girl bike!
With princesses!
A match made in Heaven. I'm rooting for these two ;)
Late night bonding.
Utube entertainment.
Fun times with Garrett and Joy! (And it was so good to get to see Brian at the end of the night, too!)

Baby Cole... 4 months old and smiley!
Sunday, May 11, 2008

This afternoon, I had a blast hanging out with Baby Cole, and his amazing parents, Erika and Tim.

It's late, and we have a crazy day tomorrow, so I am going to just let the images speak for themselves!

Happy Mother's Day, Erika! (And ALL my wonderful moms!)

Enjoy the slideshow!

hugs,

I was met at the door by a gorgeous mom and a super happy baby! I knew it was going to be an awesome session!
One of my favorite images in a while!
Fun series. Cole loves to play "airplane"!
Latte....
Daddy time!
I love this family shot! Cole is so animated!
He fell asleep on his Dad's shoulder. So peaceful.
Sleeping detail.
Ok, random side note.... Tim recently scored himself a GORGEOUS new Ferrari. And yes, I might be in love.
He made me pose for a picture ;)
Plan on seeing more of this in the future!
Thanks, Tim and Erika!

Baby Emeline... Session Two!
Thursday, May 08, 2008

Yesterday afternoon, I had the pleasure of spending a wonderful leisurely afternoon with Katie, Gregsby, and Baby Emeline!

I love hanging out with this family. They are just so real and full of life. Katie and Gregsby are absolutely beautiful together, and Baby Emeline is adorable. The whole family is this perfect little ball of 1950's sitcom perfection... and I mean that in the most wonderful way possible!

We had the opportunity to enjoy bathtime, cuddle time, a little music time, and even some fun outdoor stuff.. Emeline was a joy the entire time, and I don't think I actually heard her cry, even once! Amazing!

I hope you guys enjoy your slideshow! Sorry I didn't have it up for you this morning, Katie :) A little delayed gratification, I guess! See you guys in a few months.

much love

I love starting off the session with bathtime! And yes, I was standing in the tub for this shot :)
Katie gives the baths, and Gregsby gets Baby Emeline dressed. Such a good team :)
So cute!
I just love family time. Just watching a family cuddle down in their favorite spot and love on each other is one of my favorite things about each session!
Katie had cute toes ;)
One of my favorites!
Emeline loves it when Gregsby plays guitar for her. I'll admit. I loved it, too.
Katie sang along too. It was one of the most beautiful versions of DixieLand Delight that I've ever heard. (I really wanted to make the slideshow with that song... but alas, copyright restrictions won't allow it!)
Sometimes baby kisses get a little crazy!
Pretty sure that the parents were more entertained by this than Emeline was! We're going to try it again next time :)
I love the reality of this image. Sometimes, its just easier to never ever fold baby clothes!
She's beautiful...
And incredibly happy. I cannot wait to see her (and her amazing parents!) again!

Jill McNabb: These are great!  Such a cute family!  I miss you and I´m excited you´re shooting here next weekend. (10.05.2008 ,23:56)
Mark: No self portrait? (10.05.2008 ,17:12)
Greg: I love these pictures. The ones where Gregsby is playing singing to her are great! (09.05.2008 ,11:54)
Corey McNabb: Super cute... great moments! (08.05.2008 ,17:15)
Katie: And I also am embarrassed, but completely amused by the one of our clothes explosion on the bed. So true that it´s just REALITY. :) (08.05.2008 ,14:57)
Katie: Amber, you truly amazing. Words can´t express how thankful we are to have you! I love every single one of them! ... There´s one in the slideshow towards then where she´s giggling -- it reminds me of one y´all got of Gregsby laughing in that chair on our wedding day. Looks just like him! I'd like to send a "Congratulations!" out to my incredibly talented musician of a brother, Josh,  on his upcoming graduation from college and the incredible job he did at his senior recital a couple of weeks ago!  Here are a few pictures!
