Blogging has been an important part of our business and our relationships with clients, colleagues, friends, and family for a couple of years now, and we realized that there was really no reason to continue to use a traditional gallery-based website as our main site. With this in mind, we've combined the best of both worlds. We are thrilled with the opportunity to continue relationship building with those of you who are connected to us through our blog. We want you to get to know us. We'll be sharing our recent sessions and weddings, family fun times, and industry excitement. Yesterday, I spent most of the evening hanging out with Tamara and Ryan and their adorable Baby Ben. I cannot believe how much this kid has grown... he's almost a teenager now! We had a wonderful time playing with toys, having a snack, taking a walk, having a quick BUBBLE bath (wait til you see the bubbles!), and the running over to Sophies and Bluebird and Co to grab a few images at Tamara's shop, since they spend quite a bit of time their together each week! I'll hopefully be joing Tamara for an exciting adventure later this month, so you'll get to see more of Ben soon! But until then, I hope you guys enjoy the slideshow! hugs -amber

A few weeks ago, the wonderful Treacy Mize came all the way from Sacremento to spend a day learning with me. We had an absolute blast talking and laughing and learning and shooting and talking and laughing and learning. It was a long day, for sure, but I think one in which we both learned much and enjoyed even more! What I can't believe is that I forgot to post a few images from the baby TAG-A-LONG that we did. The amazing Rich and Heather and Baby Alana were available for us to come hang out with, and we were thrilled to do so. They're wonderful subjects, and always make my learning photographers feel so at home! I'm enjoying some time with my family on the 4th, but I wanted to make sure that I posted a few pictures from my session with our friends and clients, Robbie and Rachel! Amber and I photographed Robbie and Rachel's wedding about 18 months ago, and on the day of the wedding, we ran out of time for the formal portraits. We agreed to do a separate session after the wedding, and due to busy schedules, we didn't get to the session until this week! That said, it was worth the wait! We had a beautiful evening downtown Chattanooga and spent just under 2 hours going from location to location, taking advantage of the incredible light and grabbing the incredible relationship that Robbie and Rachel have. Thanks for being such great friends, Rachel and Robbie, and we wish you a continued happy marriage!
